J. Michael Cotter, 64, passed away on November 6, 2015 at Mountain View Hospital in Las Vegas, NV of pulmonary fibrosis.
Michael was born in North Andover to the late James and Helen Cotter. He was raised and educated in North Andover. He graduated from North Andover High School in 1969 where he excelled in basketball. Michael was an Army Reserves and National Guard Veteran. Michael enjoyed playing golf and watching Nascar, football and golf. He had worked for Murphy Sheet Metal installing skylights; throughout his career he traveled Scotland, Hawaii and many other states.
Michael is survived by his sister Mary DiFilippo and her husband Gabriel of North Andover, MA, his brother Thomas Cotter and his wife Beverly of Jacksonville, FL and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Margaret (Cotter) Ochs.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet at St. Michael’s Church, 196 Main St. North Andover, MA for a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 10:00 A.M.
