Anna M. Smith, 88, of Derry, NH, died Monday August 8, 2016 in the All American Assisted Living in Londonderry, NH. She was born in New York City, NY on March 12, 1928, a daughter of the late John and Delia Coyle. She had been a resident of Derry for the past year, formerly living in Palm Coast, Florida.
She is survived by; two sons, William “Dollar Bill” Burke and his wife Janice of Derry, and Jeffrey Burke and his wife Antje of Wilmington, NC; her daughter, Kelly Stuart and her husband Richard of Wallkill, NY; and seven grandchildren, Daniel Stuart, Megan Stuart, Jennifer Burke Anderson, William P. Burke, Katja Burke, Alyssa Burke and Kaitlin Burke. She was predeceased by her husbands, William L. Burke in December 1965, and George A. Smith in August 2014; her daughter, Nancy Burke in September 2016, and her grandson, David Stuart in December 1999.
Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 17th at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Upper Room Family Resource Center, 36 Tsienneto Rd., Derry, NH 03038. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
