TAUNTON – Barbara A. (Deely) Hearrold, loving companion of James O. Couto of East Taunton, died at Morton Hospital on August 7, 2016.
She was 83.
Born in Cambridge, she was the wife of the late Charles R. Hearrold and the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Conroy) Deely.
Employed as a waitress for many years in area restaurants, she last worked for Mel’s Diner in Raynham, retiring in 1986.
She enjoyed gardening, Cape Cod and spending time with family and friends.
She was a communicant of Holy Family Church.
Besides her companion, she leaves three sons, Robert DeCoste and Ronald DeCoste, both of Derry NH and Charles Hearrold of East Taunton; a daughter, Kathleen Greenwell of TN; a brother, Jack Deely of Chelmsford; a sister, Louise Mallahan of Somerville; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Richard DeCoste and the sister of the late Joseph Deely.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Friday, Aug. 12th at 8:45 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Holy Family Church East Taunton at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
