Bridgewater - Elinor R. (Nash) Texeira, 85, of Bridgewater died Saturday, July 23, 2005, at Northeast Specialty Hospital of Braintree after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Charles Texeira for 40 years.
Born, raised and educated in Bridgewater, the daughter of the late Elmore and Lucia Nash, she was a graduate of Bridgewater Academy High School.
Mrs. Texeira was retired from M.C.I. Bridgewater, where she had worked for 26 years as a principle clerk.
She also served as treasurer for 16 years at the Senior Citizens Center in Bridgewater.
In addition to her husband Charles, she is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Ann Vervates of Danvers; and her two grandsons, Charles and Harry Vervates.
Her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 am in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rt. 18), Bridgewater. Burial will be in Mount Prospect Cemetery, Bridgewater.
Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
