Hurley, Eugene F. Jr. (Gene) of Medfield formerly of Needham, August 7, 2016. Beloved husband of Insoon (Ha) Hurley. Devoted father of Geno Hurley III of Medfield, Jessie Hurley and her fiancé Dave Arvidson of Wrentham. Grandfather of Paige Karen Arvidson. Devoted son of Mary E. Hurley of Natick formerly of Needham and the late Eugene F. Hurley Sr. Brother of Mary Hurley, Lillian Wainwright and her husband Dave, Sheila Hurley all of Needham, Virginia Kiser and her husband Steven, Kathleen Hurley, all of Natick, and Andrew Hurley of Foxboro. Also, survived by many nieces and nephews: Scott, Brian, Jenn, Katie, Kristen, Ryan, Leah, Derek, Austin, Brittney and Morgan.
Gene was a kind and gentle man that lived for his family and friends. He was a loving husband, an amazing father and a very proud grandfather. He worked his lifetime in construction. He was a dedicated worker for Luttazi, he loved going to work each day as a heavy equipment operator. Gene enjoyed motorcycles, cars, and many sports, especially golf.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bartholomew Church, Needham on Friday, August 12 at 10am. A celebration of Gene's life will follow immediately at the VFW Hall at 20 Junction Street, Needham. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment private. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Eugene’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
