William F Alessi of South Boston age 88 passed August 7th, 2016 peacefully at home. Son of the late John & Mary Defranco Alessi, brother of Don, Dr Frank, Lucy (Alessi) Costigliola and her late husband Frank ( Bunny) Costigliola all of South Boston, Dominic and his wife Jeanette of Dorchester, Brother of the late Anthony( Nino), Joeseph,and Frances Kelly. Long time devoted companion to Marjorie Ann Hagerty, and his devoted friend Richard Coit and their dog Piccolo. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Billy will be laid to rest with his parents, whom He loved dearly. Visiting Hours will be held at the Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston on Wednesday, August 10 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Gate of Heaven Church, South Boston Thursday at 10 AM. Followed by interment in St. Michael's Cemetery.
