BROCKTON - Thomas B. Murphy, 43, of Brockton, formerly of Holbrook, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 21, 2005.
Born in Boston, grew up in Holbrook, he was the son of Judith (Galvin) Murphy of East Bridgewater and the late Thomas F. Murphy.
Mr. Murphy was a graduate of Holbrook High School, Class of 1980.
He was a retired ironworker from Local No. 7, out of South Boston, where he worked for 25 years.
Mr. Murphy enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his mother, Judith, he is survived by his brothers and sisters, William Murphy of New Hampshire, Timothy Murphy of Boston, Nadine Brunswick of Florida, Patricia Mann of East Bridgewater, Theresa Buchanan of Bridgewater and Amy Murphy of Easton; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was also the brother of the late John Murphy.
His funeral service will be held in the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater, Wednesday at 10 am.
Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-8 pm.
Burial will be at a later date in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
