Adele M. Sciaba (Sarkis) age 94 of Jamaica Plain passed away August 8th at the Faulkner Hospital in Boston. Born in Boston, she was raised in the Boston’s South End and attended Boston Schools. She has lived in Jamaica Plain for over 60 years and was a devoted housewife and mother. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Sr. Mother of Paul F. Sciaba and his wife Francesca of Westwood, Gail F. Ritucci and her husband Steven of Wrentham, Edward J. Sciaba Jr. of Jamaica Plain and Mary Ann F. Singersen of Mashpee. Sister of the late Abraham Sarkis, Isabelle Sarkis and Charles Sarkis. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Funeral mass at Our Lady of Cedars of Lebanon Church 61 Rockwood St. Jamaica Plain Friday morning at 10. Burial Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
