Lottie M. (Stanley) Smith, 76, of Anderson, passed away at her home on August 5, 2016.
She was born Dec. 25, 1940 in Maysville, Kentucky, the daughter of Dan and Druzella (Turner) Stanley.
She was married to Leon W. Smith on June 14, 1957, he passed away June 1, 2014.
She is survived by her children: Daniel J. Smith wife Elaine of Indianapolis, Rick L. Smith and wife Veronica of Anderson, Mary E. (Smith) Seman and husband Marty of Shelbyville, Tonya S. Smith of Anderson, one adopted son/grandson, Joshua Smith, Anderson, one sister, Charity Coty of Ossian, IN,; a brother, Danny Stanley of Anderson and a special sister-in-law, Margaret Smith of Anderson; brothers-in-law, Richard Smith of Anderson, Paul Smith of Kentucky, Virgil Smith of Anderson and Marvin Smith of Anderson; ten grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and eight step great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, brothers-in-law, Bill Coty, Robert Smith, Arthur Smith Jr. Leo Smith, Herbert Smith and Joseph Moss; sisters-in-law, Geneva Lamphrey, Jeannette Moss and Geneva Smith.
Lottie loved her family and old friends and making new friends. She also loved going to the casino.
Service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Chaplin Tobby Smith officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home
