L. Carol Travaille, 78, of Prosser, passed away on August 3, 2016 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
She was born on June 10, 1938, in Oakland, California to Richard and Anna Maria (Bailey) Hearsum. She was raised and educated in California and graduated from El Cerrito High School in 1955. She worked as a bookkeeper in San Francisco and Livermore. She retired from Yamaha Golf Cars in 2012 and moved to Prosser. Carol married Leonard Travaille on January 3, 2016, at Prosser Calvary Baptist Church.
Carol was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting with the Women’s Missionary Union and served as treasurer of the church. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors working in the yard.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard Travaille of Prosser; six children, Carrie Lynn Vanlandingham and her husband, Patrick of Livermore, CA, Thomas Hudson of Nevada, John Hudson and his wife, Dawn of California, Bill Hudson of Prosser, Lorri Myers and her husband, Robert of Pennsylvania and Nancy Wilkins and her husband, Jim of Oregon; ten grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and her sister, Lee Witt of Colorado.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church in Prosser. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
