Gary Frank Dennis, 64, died at Hopkins Assisted Living on August 2, 2016.
Born in Salisbury, MD, he was a son of Clifton Dennis and the late Rita (Larve) Dennis.
At eighteen, he enlisted in the Air Force and served four and a half years with two tours of duty in Thailand during the Vietnam War. Upon retirement from service, he worked as a store detective at the BX at McDill A.F.B. in Tampa. While there he received an A.H. degree in Conservation at the University of South Florida.
He moved to Rhode Island in 1984. Due to a severe memory loss, he resided in assisted living until his death. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Sandra Dennis, of Cumberland.
Funeral services Saturday, August 6th, at 9:30am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA.
