Myrna A. (McKinstry) Kenefick, 79, passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 4, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Robert E. Kenefick, four children; Debra L. Larson and her husband Steven of Worcester, Michael P. Kenefick of Ft. Myers, Fla., Patty M. Castro and her husband Alfredo of Woburn and Webster, and Roberta J. Compson and her husband Michael of Columbia, Maryland. Myrna was the cherished grandmother of Ericka, Alicia, Katelyn, Victoria and Kayla.
She also leaves a sister, Mary Christo of Houston, TX., and many nieces and nephews.
Myrna was born in Southbridge, daughter of the late Clayton and Margaret (Duricka) McKinstry and was a graduate of Mary E. Wells High School in Southbridge and also a graduate of the Grace Downs Modeling School in New York City.
She worked for many years as a payroll supervisor at Clark University in Worcester before retiring.
Myrna was a member of St. Louis Church, liked to read , and Loved the Lake and especially being with her family. There are No Calling Hours.
A Funeral Mass will be Monday, August 8, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Louis Church, 14 Lake St. (kindly meet at the church). Burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery.
