CONNELL, John F. "Jack" 81, of Centerville, formerly of Needham, died peacefully August 4th. Beloved husband of Nan (Leary) Connell for 54 years. Devoted father of Katy Barry and her husband Ed of Watertown, Molly Pomposelli and her husband Mike of Needham, Laura Morrissey and her husband Tim of Norfolk, and the late Julie Siderwicz and her surviving husband, Jack, of Middleborough. Devoted Grandpa to Hannah, Chris, Ryan, Jack, Celia, Jake and James. Jack was a former District Deputy of the Knights of Columbus - Arlington. Longtime Needham Town Meeting Member. He was a former lector and member of Our Lady of Victory Parish in Centerville. He was also a volunteer at the Barnstable Police Department and Barnstable Park & Recreation.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, Monday at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, Needham, at 10. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
