NORMAN L. ROY DUMMER, NH

Norman L. Roy, 76, of Dummer passed away at his home on Tuesday August 2, 2016. Mr. Roy was born in Berlin, NH on June 18, 1940, the son of Romeo and Dorilda (Bredeau) Roy and was raised in Berlin and lived in the area for most of his life. He was a United States Army veteran, where he served overseas during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Mr. Roy was a call firefighter for several years with the Berlin Fire Department, was a former Police Chief in Dummer and worked for many years at the local paper mill, beginning with the Brown Company, then James River Corporation and retired from Crown Vantage Corporation.

Members of the family include his wife Anita Roy of Dummer, NH; 2 sons Dan Roy and his wife Stephanie of Milan and Brian Roy and wife Pam of Berlin; two daughters Rhonda Beroney of Concord and Judy Marcou of Dummer; grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson James Brooks and by two brothers Richard Roy and Edward Roy.

SERVICES: A graveside service will be held on Friday August 5, 2016 at 1:00 PM at St. Anne Cemetery in Berlin. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes may make a donation to a charity of one’s choice in his memory. Arrangements are by the Bryant Funeral Homes, Berlin & Gorham, NH.
