BEVERLY: Bruce C. Burke, 69, died Thursday, July 28, 2016 at his home in the arms of Patty LeVasseur, his love and partner for the past eleven years.
Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late Nelson Burke and Arlene (Cleaves) Bratti. Bruce fought a long courageous battle with cancer from Agent Orange caused during his tour of duty in the Vietnam War.
In addition to Patty, he is survived by his two sons, Shawn and Jason; grandchildren, Shawn, Jr., Cheyenne, Taylor, Anthony and Garret; his devoted brothers, Danny Bratti and his wife, Tammy, who was also there with him in his passing and Gene and Brian Bratti; his sister, Cindy Proctor and many nieces and nephews. He was very devoted to his mom, Arlene Bratti and was her caregiver for many years. He has finally joined her in heaven where he can finally rest in peace.
