CHICOPEE – Annette M. (Belanger) Robitaille, 98, of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 1, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on May 17, 1918, a daughter of the late William and Yvonne (Boudreau) Belanger. She was raised in Chicopee, attended Chicopee schools and was a lifelong resident of Chicopee. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lawrence H. Robitaille who passed away on June 19, 1989. She was also predeceased by her brother, Wilfred Belanger; and her sister, Amelia Ginley. She leaves her two loving and devoted sons, Richard L. Robitaille of Chicopee and Robert N. Robitaille of Enfield, CT; her two granddaughters, Cindy Higgins and her husband, Arthur, and Erica Ikonomidis and her husband, Alex; and her five great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her dear sister, Helen Simard of Granby. Her funeral will be held on Friday morning, August 5, 2016 beginning at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (the funeral home will open at 9 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her Burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning, August 5, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. before the Funeral Mass. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
