Virginia M. Toti (Murphy) age 87 of Sharon formerly of Canton & Brockton passed away August 1st at Wingate of Sharon. Born and raised in Dorchester, she attended Boston Public Schools graduating from Dorchester High School. After High School Virginia worked at the State Department for John Kennedy. She went on to work for Brockton Hospital for 30 years as a Medical Secretary. Mrs. Toti and her husband, Ralph lived in Brockton for 40 years before moving to Canton in 2000. Virginia enjoyed arts & crafts, bowling, reading, and was an avid Bruins fan. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Ralph. Loving mother of Stephen Toti & his wife Eileen of Melrose, Marianne Westgate & her husband Daniel of Brockton, Terese Kaminski & her husband Paul of E. Bridgewater and Gail E. Toti of Quincy. Devoted sister of Constance Brown of Falmouth, Joan Courteau of Easton, and the late Robert Murphy. Also survived by 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her granddog Murphy. Visiting hours at Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St. Canton, Thursday from 4-8pm. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton on Friday morning at 10:00. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park.
