Laconia-----Roberta Marie Flanders 68, of Overland Street, died after a period of declining health at her home Saturday, July 23, 2016.
Roberta was born August 8, 1947 in Hudson, Maine, daughter to the late Warren and Marion E. (Shirley) Wetherbee. She had worked for Benmar Apparel, Cormier and Star Specialty as well as several other apparel shops over the years and was an accomplished stitcher. Roberta had attended hairdressing school and was a hairdresser for several years. She enjoyed working around her house, especially in her garden.
Roberta is survived by her son, Bryan Flanders of Laconia, three grandchildren, Neil Corson, Kaleb and Seth Flanders; two great grandchildren, Nevaeh and Cadence Corson; and four nieces Natalie Buxton, Pamela Dupont, Tracy Dubois and Diane Chandronnait. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her brother, Warren E. Wetherbee Jr. and her sister, Wanita Dubois.
There will be no calling hours.
Burial and graveside service will be August 18, 2016 at 11:00am in the family plot at Union Cemetery.
