Obituary

WORCESTER-Blanche A. ”Bunny” (Andrews ) Jaynes, 84, of 194 Canterbury Street, died Tuesday, May 21st in Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. Her husband of 43 years Walter R. “Russ” Jaynes died in 1985. She leaves a son Russell W. Jaynes of Worcester, 2 daughters Melanie A. Pecevich of Putnam, CT and Judith C. Crown of Worcester, a brother Charles “Chick” Andrews of Chatham, and 2 sisters Anne Archambault of Leicester and Rita Early of Worcester, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. 2 brothers, Joseph and Anthony Andrews and a sister Helen Fox predeceased her.

She was born in Rochdale the daughter of Frank and Anne (Plaushka) Andrulis. She retired in 1983 from Worcester Country Club where she had worked as a waitress. Previously she had worked at Reed and Prince, and then as a waitress at the former Stockholm Restaurant at Worcester Airport. Mrs. Jaynes was a member of St. Peter’s Parish, and at one time been a member of the Canterbury Street School Mothers Club.

The funeral will be Friday, May 24th, from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 Am in St. Peters Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, May 23rd from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
