Sandra I. (Rose) Green, age 80, of Raynham passed away peacefully, in the presence of her loving family on Monday, August 1, 2016 at the Life Care Center in Raynham. Mrs. Green was the beloved wife of Russell W. Green, Sr. with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. Sandra is survived by her loving children; Pamela Dion and her husband Richard of Raynham, Russell W. Green, Jr. and his wife Rebecca of Bridgewater and John Green and his wife Linda of Taunton. Mrs. Green was a proud grandmother of 5 and also leaves behind 1 great grandchild. She was the loving sister of Georgia Benjamin of Raynham, Valerie Tavares of Taunton, Norman Rose of Taunton, Majorie Rose of Texas, the late William Rose and the late Jackie Traver.
Sandra was born on November 28, 1935 in North Dighton to her parents, the late George W. and Isabel (McSween) Rose. She grew up in and was educated in Taunton. Most important to Mrs. Green was her family and that shined bright through her work as a dedicated homemaker. She loved baking breads and pies for her favorite people. Sandra also enjoyed flowers and the past time of sending greeting cards. She will be forever loved and cherished by all who knew her.
Visiting hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held on Friday August 5th from 9:00-11:00am at the Taunton Memorial Funeral Home 8 Crapo St. (off Tremont St. Route 140) Taunton.
A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 11:00 A.M.in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
