MARLBOROUGH: Beverley A. (Noseworthy) Twelves, 83, died on July 14, 2016 following a brief period of declining health.
She was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on October 6, 1932 the daughter of the late Alexander Noseworthy and Bertha (Harnett) Noseworthy.
Beverley was the devoted and loving mother of Stephen Twelves of Watertown, Mark Twelves of Natick, Betsy Twelves-Dickson of Scotland and the late Sarah Twelves. Sister of the late Mary “Bunny” Carter and the late Rev. Donald Noseworthy. Also survived by 2 grandchildren, 6 nieces and 6 nephews.
Beverley has been a resident of Marlborough for the past 12 years and previously resided in the Philadelphia area and Chelmsford, Massachusetts. She was a graduate of the Boston University School of Nursing and a member of Sigma Theta Tsu. She had a long and distinguished career as a registered nurse, both in private practice and at Abington Hospital.
Beverley was an active member of Saint Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church in Sudbury and participated in many of the church organizations.
A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 am at Saint Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church, 1 Morse Road, Sudbury. Private family interment will be held at Ridge Lawn Cemetery in Chelmsford.
In lieu of flowers her family suggests that memorial gifts may be sent to Doctors Without Borders.
