Chicopee – Maria (Inocencio) Rodrigues, age 87, passed away on Sat., July 30, 2016 at Willamansett West Nursing Home. She was born on Dec. 20, 1928 in Alcochete, Portugal. She was a daughter of the late Jose and Maria (Chefe) Inocencio. Maria worked for Chicopee Undergarment for many years before she retired. She was a communicant of Holy Name of Jesus Parish. She is predeceased by her husband Francisco Rodrigues who passed away in 2001. She leaves her son Vitorino Marafuga and his wife Maria of Chicopee; 1 daughter Maria C. Alves and her husband Arlindo of Chicopee; 5 grandchildren, Paulo, Virgilio and his wife Monica, Hugo, Sonia and her husband Keith and Ana, along with her 7 beloved great grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey, Kevin, Gabriela, Anthony, Catarina and Maddox. She is predeceased by her brother and sister and leaves many nieces and nephews. All services will be private for the family.
