Augusta, GA – Lillian Ruth Bryant, 86, wife of 46 years to the late Claude N. Bryant, entered her heavenly home on Friday, July 29, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Whole Life Ministries with Dr. Sandra Kennedy officiating. Entombment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Lillian was born in Hopewell, VA to the late John and Susie Garrett. She spent most of her life in the ministry, traveling all over the United States and foreign countries as an Evangelist. Over that past 20 years, she has made Whole Life Ministries her church home. Lillian loved to sing and had a beautiful voice.
Survivors include her nieces; Barbara Wilkes (Bob) of Augusta, GA, Donna Throckmorton (Howard) of Price George, VA, Deborah Strawser (Paul) of Chester, VA, nephews; Calvin Crews of Danville, VA, Richard J. Hayes, Jr. (Linda) of Chester, VA and brother; Thomas W. Garrett of Hopewell, VA. Lillian was preceded in death by her brothers; Albert Garrett, John Garrett, sisters; Mary Hayes, and Agnes Crews.
Pallbearers will be Wally Baskovitch, Jerry Stapleton, Horace Carney, Gene Schirhart, Pat Smith, and Patrick Marshall.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
