Obituary

MARBLEHEAD – Jacklyn G. “Jackie” Jackson, 64, wife of Robert Torrey Jackson, of Marblehead, died Monday evening, July 25, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Marblehead, she was the daughter of Doris (Perry) Slattery of Marblehead and the late Edward Slattery.

Jackie was employed for 22 years for Marsha, Inc. of Marblehead and later worked for the Town of Marblehead for 10 years as a bookkeeper in the school department.

She was a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans, Post 55 in Salem and the Chaplain Lyman Rollins VFW, Post 2005 in Marblehead.

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by daughter, Rachael (Doliber) Spina and her husband Jimi of Shapleigh, Maine, son Edgar Snow Doliber III and wife Jessica of Lynn, step-children, Siri (Jackson) Wood, of P.E.I, Erik Jackson of Ipswich, Nils Jackson of England, grandchildren, Evan Snow Doliber, Jodhi Wood & Leah MacDonald, brothers, Timothy Slattery of Peabody & Peter Slattery of Connecticut, sisters, Eddi Wood & Marjorie Sumner both of Marblehead, and her beloved lap cat Alfy.

In accordance with family wishes, funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St, Ste.
