MEREDITH - Rodney J. Avery, 67, of 103 Roxbury Road, died Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in his home after a long illness.
He was born on February 16, 1949 in Laconia, the son of the late Ernest and Phyllis (McClary) Avery. Rodney worked for 42 years as a Concrete Specialist for such companies as Persons Concrete and Dawsons Concrete, retiring in 2010. He enjoyed watching westerns, loved playing golf and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Madeline (Boudreau) Avery of Meredith, one son, Walter J. Avery and his wife Kimberly, two daughters; Michelle Mulholland and her husband Keith and Robbin Currier and her husband Michael, three brothers; Douglas Avery, Eugene Avery and Ernest Avery, three sisters; Wanda Hough, Karen Constant and Melody Smock, seven grandchildren; Jessica, Sarah, Paige, Parker, Matthew Alyssa and Connor and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 5PM to 8Pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home , 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the carriage house entrance.
Graveside services will be private.
