Margaret A. Dehler, 72, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 22nd at River Terrace Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
Margaret (Maggie) was born in Norfolk, VA, daughter of Robert and Hazel Grimes. She was the beloved wife to the late Calvin H. Dehler who died in 2000. She leaves behind her children, Barry Stokes and wife Caroline of Wharton NJ, Christine Gill and husband Jeffrey of Berlin MA, David Dehler and wife Colleen of Spokane WA. She is also survived by her Grandchildren, Jessica Wooster and Eric Chaves of Hudson MA, Michael Wooster of Clinton MA, Lauren and Ben Gleason of Weymouth MA, James Stokes of Wharton NJ, and William and Michelle Dehler of NC. She has 4 Great grandchildren, Bennett Chaves, Isobel and Amiliana Dehler, and Cali Rae Dehler. She is also survived by her sister Janet Lunde of Virgina Beach, VA. She was the sister of the late David Grimes.
Maggie was a free spirit that had such a wonderful outlook on life. She adored and cherished her family, especially her Grandchildren and Great grandchildren. She took every chance she had to spoil them and shower them with love. She loved holiday gatherings and celebrations, but her favorite was Halloween. No matter what, she would always dress for the occasion and turn a few heads.
