Melissa Yuen Sam Wong, of Medford, formerly of Boxborough and Jericho, New York, passed away on Thursday, July 21st. She was 24.
Raised in Jericho, New York, She attended local schools and graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where she was a sorority sister of Kapa Phi Lambda. After earning her degree she worked as a Program Coordinator at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
Melissa was the cherished daughter of Richard and Vivian Yuen Woon (Tso) Wong and the loving sister of Nicholas Wong, all of Jericho, New York. She is also survived by many loving aunts and uncles and cousins as well as her loving sorority sisters and friends.
Family and friends may visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford on Friday July 29th from 5 thru 9 PM with a service at 8 PM. A service will be announced for a later date in Jericho, New York.
