Shirley D. (Hoffman) Moore age 83 of Windham, NH died Friday at the
Greenbriar Nursing Home, Nashua, NH.
She was born in Lawrence,MA, grew up and was educated in Salem,NH. She graduated from Woodbury High School in 1940. She has been a resident of Windham, NH for many years.
Mrs. Moore worked as an administative assistant to the Racing Commissioner at Rockingham Race Track. She also helped start and worked at the NH Registry of Motor Vehicles in Salem for many years. She attented the First-Calvary Baptist Church now located in North Andover,MA. She enjoyed oil painting, music, dancing, canoeing, the ocean and many other outdoor activities.
She was preceeded in death by her brother Jack Hoffman and her sister Ruth Petelle.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years,

daughter: Nancy and her husband Jeffrey Schulte of Salem,NH.
She also leaves a brother William Hoffman of Manchester, Conn, and two sisters, Ilene Dubois and Dorothy Frederick, both of Salem, NH, and three grandchildren, Tyler and Trevor Moore and Elizabeth Schulte.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 27th, 10AM at the Douglas and Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
