New Bedford – Antone A. “Tony” Botelho, 53, of New Bedford passed away unexpectedly at home on July 11, 2016.
Mr. Botelho was born in New Bedford, son of Theresa M. (Belli) Botelho of Fairhaven and the late Frank Botelho. He was raised in Fairhaven and resided in New Bedford for the past 9 years. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Fairhaven. He was employed as a cook by various local restaurants until leaving due to disability. He loved cooking and playing cards.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son: Antone A. “Tony” Botelho, Jr. of New Bedford; his sister: Debbie Moniz of Texas; his brothers: Robert, James and Michael Botelho, all of New Bedford; and many nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford on Friday, July 29, 2016, 5:00-8:00 P.M.
