Providence, RI – Ernest E. “Ernie” Reynolds, Jr., 75, of E. Freetown passed away unexpectedly July 25, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy A. (Kirby) Reynolds.
Mr. Reynolds was born in E. Freetown, son of the late Ernest E. and Eleanor M. (Pittsley) Reynolds, and was a lifelong resident of the town. He was the co-owner/co-operator of Reynolds Firewood until his retirement. He was a vendor at the Southcoast Flea Market for many years. He enjoyed antiques, auctions and most of all spending time with his family.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by a daughter: Tammy L. Mendes and her husband, Steven; 2 sons: Robert R. Reynolds and his wife, Debbie, and Shawn E. Reynolds and his companion, Anna; 1 brother: Robert Reynolds; 2 sisters: Mary LaFountain and Marion Sherman; 5 grandchildren: Shane Westgate, Alyssa Reynolds, Abigail Reynolds, Austin Mendes and Camdin Mendes; several nieces & nephews; and his lifelong friend Charlie Westgate.

Burial will be in Pittsley Family Cemetery.
