Peter R. Trabucco passed away on July 25, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 87 years old.
Peter was a lifelong resident of Malden and a United States Marine Veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was the former manager of Sunnyhurst Farms in Medford and worked for many years bartending at the Highland Café in Malden, and most recently worked for LAZ Parking in Malden.
Peter was the devoted husband of the late Jeanne (Mullen) Trabucco. He was the beloved father of Paula Jean Trabucco and her companion Laurie Tobey of NH, Jo-Ann Trabucco-Palermo and her husband Pat of Saugus and Toni Finn and her husband Stephen of Melrose. Peter was the dear brother of Edward Trabucco and the late Joseph, John, William, Rocco, and Albert Trabucco and Ann Notorangeli. He was the cherished grandfather of Stephanie LaVerde and her husband Stephen of Saugus, and Peter, Kelly, Jacqui, Sean and Maggie Finn all of Melrose, and great grandfather of Jake and Lucas LaVerde. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday July 28th at 9:00a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Joseph’s Church 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10:00a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday July 27th from 4-8p.m. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
