Claudette T. (Boivin) Andersen, 81, of Worcester died on Monday, July 25th in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband, Edward S. Andersen died April 4, 2016. She leaves a son, Michael A. Andersen of Worcester; a brother, Leon Boivin of Ocala, FL; a granddaughter, Melissa Andersen of Oxford and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Andersen was born in Worcester and graduated from Holy Name High School and Holliston Junior College. She was the daughter of Henry J. and Beatrice (Thibault) Boivin. Claudette was a member of St. Peter’s Church. Her granddaughter, Melissa was the apple of her eye.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary Health Care for the compassion and care Claudette received over the years.
Her funeral is Friday, July 29th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 929 Main Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, July 28th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
