Albino Resende (88)of Brockton died July 23rd in the Brockton Hospital. He was the loving husband of Celestina (Andrade) Resende.
He was born in Fijanzivra, Fogo, Cabo Verde son of the late Jesuino Santos and Luzia (Antunes) Resende. He was a construction contractor by trade. Albino was a communicant of St. Edith Stein Church and enjoyed playing checkers, landscaping and loved animals and farming.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 4 sons Antonio, Jose and Juesino Resende all of Brockton and Michael Resende of Cape Cod, 3 daughters Luzia and Isabelle Resende both of Brockton and Lini Resende of Providence, Rhode Island, many grandchildren, a brother JJ Santos Resende of Brockton. Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Thursday July 28th at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 10 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday July 27th from 6-9 pm.
