Jean Marie (Gingras) Luskin, 87, of Medway went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 23, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. (Jack) Luskin, Jr. from 1947 until his passing in 2014.
Born in Newton on June 20, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Mary E. (Jardine) Gingras. Mrs. Luskin grew up in Watertown where she lived until moving to Medway in 1960.
She was proud of her employment as a Group Leader at Identicon Electronics in Franklin until retiring in 1992. However, the role about which she was most passionate was that of wife and mother to her six children.
She was fiercely devoted to her family, and is lovingly survived by three sons and three daughters: Peter Luskin and his wife Mary of Bellingham, John (Jack) Luskin and his wife Bonnie of Wrentham, James Luskin and his wife Jill of Wrentham, Linda Towne and her husband Alan of Springfield, Mary Anne Nigro of Mansfield, and Barbara Jean Hanson and her husband John of Burlington, WI.
She is also survived by 13 adoring grand-children -- Melissa, Christopher, Julie, Matthew, Jeanie, Elise, Amy, Alyssa, Kaylee, Adam, John, Lily and Jack, and 4 great-grandchildren -- Gregory, Aislinn, Abigail Grace and Colleen Faith. Mrs. Luskin had one sister, the late Dorothy Leeper.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 29, at 12:00 Noon at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St., Medway. Private burial will be at the discretion of the family.
