Jeannette Tremblay, 82, of Derry, NH, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 23, 2016, in Bedford Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford, NH. She was born in Manchester, NH on December 29, 1933, a daughter of Blanche Forton, and had been a resident of Derry for the past 15 years, formerly living in Manchester, NH where she was raised and educated. Jeannette was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, and passing the time with good friends at the Pillsbury Building. Being with her beloved family was her greatest joy.
She is survived two daughters, Carol Theos Booth and husband Kenneth and Lynne Duhaime and husband Richard; three sons, Anthony Tremblay and wife Paula, Michael Tremblay and wife Lily and Timothy Tremblay and wife Monique; six grandchildren, Steven, Anthony, Laura, Cara, Timmy and Karen; seven great- grandchildren, Regan, Ashley, Ben, Zachary, Anthony, Anistyn and Rebecca; her brother, Lionel Forton; her sister, Pauline Legendre and several nieces and nephews. Jeanette was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Tremblay.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 9am to 11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Funeral services followed at 11:00 am in the funeral home. The burial was held in St. Augustine’s Cemetery, Beech St., Manchester.
