Katie “Kate” Boles, 48, of Derry, NH, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday July 23, 2016 at her home. She was born in Derry on April 23, 1968, a daughter of Janice (Merrill) Boles and the late Leland E. Boles. Katie was a member of the Calvary Bible Church in Derry for many years. She was active working in the Church nursery, and was much loved by the congregation. Katie was also a huge Jeff Gordon NASCAR fan.
In addition to her mother Janice of Derry, she is survived by two sisters, Deborah Steckis and her husband Richard of Goffstown, NH, and Kimberly Dunton and her husband Everett of Derry; four brothers, Douglas Boles and his wife Evelyn of Derry, Kerry Boles and his wife Laura of Hampstead, NH, and Kevin and Curtis Boles both of Derry; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Leland E. Boles in 2008.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, July 27th from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Thursday at 1:30pm in Calvary Bible Church, 145 Hampstead Rd., Derry. Burial followed in the Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Bible Church, 145 Hampstead Rd., Derry, NH 03038.
