Obituary

Pierre "Joel" Dubois died on July 12, 2016, he was born on November 29, 1957 to Heureuse Dubois in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. The youngest of three, Joel loved and admired his eldest siblings, Michel & Yvrose.
In 1982 Joel moved to Florida but made Boston his permanent home, where he met Carole Alexis and her son Joseph Jean-Baptiste whom he took in as his own, Pierette & Pierre Jr. In December of 2014 Joel became a grandfather to Elias, the son of Pierre Jr., and Devona Allen.
Joel spent several years working for The Ride, however being the hard working man that he was, he strived for his family and was able to open his own successful taxi service.
In 2013, Joel fell ill with a neuromuscular disease but even stood in the midst of adversity, he remained strong and positive. Throughout this battle, he never gave up and would assure to his loved ones that he would pull through. He gave his life to the Lord in 2014 and with his new faith, he continued to persevere and knew he could trust the will of God.
Joel was called home on Tuesday July 12, 2016 at Cambridge Hospital and we know the angels are rejoicing. He leaves behind timeless memories and we are forever grateful to have experienced this genuine soul on earth.
