Fall River - Robert A. Govoni, Jr. 38 died unexpectedly on Wednesday July 20. He was the beloved fiancé of Holly Anne Eddy.
Robert had grown up in Whitman, later living in New Hampshire and Maine before his move to Fall River three years ago.
He was a talented mechanic, working his entire life at his trade and had truly loved what he did. He was known to family and friends as a “jack of all trades” with the ability to repair almost anything! He would gladly give those in need the shirt off his back.
He had loved his four children and they loved him.
In addition to his fiancé Holly he is survived by his mother Denise L. (Sprague) Govoni-Hysell of NH, his father Robert Govoni and his wife Arlene of Maine, his cherished children Dominic, Landon and Brooklyn Govoni all of Ohio and Izabella Govoni of Fall River. He is also survived by his sister Jennifer Govoni-King and her husband Peter of NH, his grandparents Margaret Sprague and Joan and William Lewis and his nieces and nephews Chelsea, Giovanna, Jonathan, Hunter and Alex as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours to be held Monday July 25 from 4:00-7:00 PM, followed by a brief family service at 7:00 PM. By request of the family other services are omitted.
