Andrea Lee Connors, 56, of Derry, NH, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, MA after a sudden illness.
Andrea was born in Somerville, Massachusetts on July 30, 1959, a daughter of the late Andrew and Marie (Capone) Athanas. Andrea was an employee of the State of Massachusetts. She was a passionate horse rider and traveled the US to attend many horse shows. She was also an avid reader and outstanding cook.
Surviving family members include her husband, Robert “Bob” Connors; her son, Ian Connors; one sister, Debra Athanas and Ted Topping; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She also leaves her beloved horse, Will and two German shepherds, Luke and Vincent, and Jack the cat.
Following cremation, a calling hour will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Edgefield Veterinary Hospital, 1 Gigante Drive, Hampstead, NH 03841.
