John proudly served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He worked as a heat loss specialist for Ellsworth Plumbing Supply in Dorchester and other plumbing supply companies for many years. He also worked as a plumber. He enjoyed motorcycle riding with his friends; his weekly gathering of friends at the Marriot in Quincy; and traveling to Florida. He was a very self sufficient and positive person who will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
