Alfred B. Grassey Jr. passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in York, ME on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the age of 65.
Alfred was a Natick hometown boy who graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Criminal Justice. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, son, and friend. Alfred was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, retired Lieutenant of the Natick Police Department, and a Vietnam Veteran.
Alfred cherished traveling with his wife, daughter, and friends; watching John Wayne movies, playing Pitch, and sneaking in his famous one-liners. Al is survived by his wife of thirty years, Durinda; his daughter Lindsey and future son-in-law Adam; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at 11:00 A.M on Saturday, August 6 in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common. A luncheon following at the Natick Elks located at 95 Speen St., Natick.
