Adeline M. (Carelli) Anderson, 89, of Worcester, passed away Monday, July 18th in Holy Trinity Nursing Center. Her husband of 48 years, Edwin K. Anderson, died in 2000. She leaves a son, David P. Anderson of Worcester; two daughters, Eileen J. Michaud and her husband Peter of Worcester and Jane M. Anderson and her husband, Steven Ward of Worcester; three grandchidlren; three great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her siblings, Charles Carelli, Msgr. Richard Carelli, Paul Carelli, Vincent Carelli, Francis Carelli, Arthur Carelli, and Isabelle Burke.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Carlo and Margaret (Brady) Carelli and graduated from the former Academy of the Sacred Heart. Mrs. Anderson was an expeditor for R.J. Toomey Company for several years before retiring and had also worked at Hillcrest Dairy at one time. She was a member of North American Martyrs Church, Auburn, and was a former member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church. Adeline was a member of the Golden Years Club and she enjoyed sewing and was an avid Celtics fan, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The funeral is Friday, July 22nd from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, July 21st from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
