Kathleen M. “Kathy” Tribby, 90, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, July 21, 2005, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 23, 2005, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Rev. Kelly Brown and Rev. Jim Faircloth officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Tribby was born February 28, 1915 in Greene County, Indiana, to the late Claude and Ruth Greene Livingston. She attended business school and was a former secretary for the Rochester Sentinel in Rochester, Indiana. She instructed the mentally challenged in basic life and business skills at the Manitou Training Center in Rochester. Mrs. Tribby continued her relationship with some of her clients long after her retirement. She was a long-time member of Grace United Methodist Church, the Women’s Club and the U.M.W., all of Rochester, IN
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Cindy and James Campbell of Fitzgerald; two grandsons: Ty and (Dana) of Milledgeville and Ross Campbell of Augusta; sister: Rosalie Rapp of Linton, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford Harrison Tribby, brother, Bill Livingston and sister, Josephine L. Kanowski.
