Obituary

Alice D. (O’Malley) Spellissy 97, of Framingham died Sunday, July 17, 2016 at her home.
She was the beloved wife of the late James G. Spellissy who died in 2001, sharing 49 years of marriage.

A resident of Framingham for 42 years she was born in Clinton, MA the daughter of the late Michael and Ellen (Tierney) O’Malley.

Mrs. Spellissy was a devoted wife and mother providing a warm, supportive, and loving home environment for her family.

She enjoyed traveling to Europe, summers on Cape Cod, and winter months in Naples, Florida.

Mrs. Spellissy was a graduate of Chamberlain College in Boston, and worked for the Eastern Isles Company in Clinton and later for the National Symphony in Washington, D.C.

She is survived by one daughter Jane E. Spellissy of Framingham, one son James M. Spellissy of Baltimore MD, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 21st at 11:00 A.M. in St. Bridget Church, 832 Worcester Road, Framingham.

Visiting hours are on Thursday Morning beginning at 9:30 A.M. in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common.

Interment St. Patrick Cemetery Natick.
