Florence M. Wawrzynski, of Wilmington passed away peacefully at Blaire House in Tewksbury, Wednesday, July 13, 2016, following a very brief illness. She was 94 years of age. Florence was the beloved wife of the late Henry M. Wawrzynski. Born in Sag Harbor, New York she was the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Fedi) Guido.
Florence was raised and educated in East Hampton, NY. She lived in Lawrence, MA for a period of time before settling in Wilmington where she was a longtime resident. She was an active parishioner of St. Thomas of Villanova Church for many years. Mostly devoted to her family she will be remembered as a kind and loving mother who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. Her love for them was always unconditional and she will be greatly missed. Florence also enjoyed traveling to East Hampton , NY in the summer months to visit with family and old friends.
In addition to her late husband and parents, Florence is sadly predeceased by her daughter, Linda Spinney.
Florence is lovingly survived by her devoted children, Sandy Garnett and her husband Gary of Barrington, NH, and Lisa M. Wawrzynski of Wilmington. She was the loving grandmother of Duncan, Camden and Lachlan Garnett.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 374 Main St., WILMINGTON, Friday, July 22nd at 12:00 noon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and visit with the family prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
