RAYNHAM - Michael A. Cobb of Raynham, son of the late Emil and Irene (LaFrance) Cobb, died at Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton on July 16, 2016.
He was 60 years old.
Born in Taunton and raised in Raynham, Michael was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School.
He later received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Bridgewater University.
A retired software engineer, Michael was employed by Sybase in Burlington for many years.
He retired five years ago.
A communicant of Raynham’s St. Ann Church, Michael enjoyed woodworking, golf and tennis.
Survivors include two nephews, Mark McAuley and his wife Darlene of Raynham and Stephen McAuley of Quincy; a niece, Karen McAuley of Bridgewater; a grandniece, Grace McAuley and grandnephew, Joseph McAuley.
He was also the brother of the late Diane McAuley.
His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Thursday, July 21st at 8:45 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Ann Church, Raynham at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 20th from 5 to 7 p.m.
