Obituary

Jack Franklin Lee, 75, of Enigma passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Mr. Lee will be laid to rest at Enigma Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 19, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Mr. Lee’s grandson, Jack Lee III, grandsons-in-law, Brandon Dean, Adam Simmons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Tifton Masonic Lodge #47.

Born November 18, 1940 in Enigma (Berrien County), Mr. Lee was the son of the late Clifford James Lee and Rosalie Fletcher Lee. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Eugenia Lott, Vickie Greer and Joyce Little. He was a retired school bus driver and also a retired carpenter. He was a member of Enigma United Methodist Church. He loved his wife, his family and his pets. He enjoyed woodworking and was a talented craftsman.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Barbara Joan Crumley Lee of Enigma; one son and daughter-in-law, Jack “Chip” and Cynthia Lee of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Sonya and Van Lindsey of Lenox; one brother, Clifford James Lee, Jr. of Enigma; one sister, Bettye Anne Walker of Tifton; and four grandchildren and their spouses, Meagan Lindsey Dean and husband Brandon, Rachel Ann Lindsey, Hannah Lee Simmons and husband, Adam and Jack Lee, III.
