Betty J. Tryon, 82, of Anderson, passed away July 16, 2016 at Community Hospital in Anderson.
She was born on August 13, 1933 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the daughter of Dillon and Bluebell (Stoops) Cagle. She married Warren M. Tryon on March 9, 1952. She was a homemaker and was an active member of Bethany Christian Church, where she was a member of the Miriam Circle and assisted with bereavement dinners and nursery care.
Betty is survived by her three children; Christie L. Franklin, Brenda S.(husband Michael) Dockery, and Ben (wife Debbie) Tryon all of Anderson, 4 grandchildren; Kelly M. (husband Christopher) Balich, Dusten (wife Amanda) Tryon, Casie R. Tryon, and Adam Dockery; 2 great grandchildren Caroline and Ethan Tryon, a brother, Bill (wife Marilyn) Cagle of Hymera and a sister, Margie (husband Ed) Gilley of Terre Haute, a sister-in-law, Juanita Cagle of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, 2 brothers Ron and Gary Cagle, and 2 great grandchildren Ben and Eli Tryon.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 1 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Bob Bell. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11 AM until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
