Lillian C. (Schiavo) Rossetti, of Medway, died peacefully on her 87th birthday, Friday, July 15, 2016 at the Milford Center Nursing Home. She was the wife of Robert L. Rossetti who died in 2002.
Born in Milford on July 15, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Antoinette (Tessicini) Schiavo.
Mrs. Rossetti grew up in Milford and graduated from Milford High School in 1946. She married her husband, Robert in 1957 and moved to Medway where she resided for most of her life.
After raising her children, Mrs. Rossetti worked at the former Corning Glass in Medfield for many years. Upon retirement she moved to Naples, Florida for eleven years where she enjoyed playing golf.
Mrs. Rossetti was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion in Medway. She cherished her Saturday evening card games with her friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Tina M. Kramer and her husband Gary of Medway and Teresa A. Ramella and her husband Richard of Bellingham and four grandchildren, Nicole Anderson and her husband Kevin, Andrew Ramella, and Justine and Jenny Kramer.
She is also survived by her sister Jeanne Consoletti of Milford and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Arthur Schiavo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour on Wednesday, July 20 from 8:45 - 9:45 a.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Milford.
