Bethel L. Drake Kelley, 77, of Farmington, NH, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Frisbee Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH, after a period of declining health. She was born March 30, 1939 in Brentwood, NH and was a daughter of the late Fred and Marion (Porter) McFarland. She was raised and educated in Chester, NH and was a resident of Hooksett for over 40 years. She resided at the Hood Senior living of Derry, where she met her husband Donald and has resided with him in Farmington for the past several years.
Bethel was a homemaker, who also worked at Pandora Knitted Fashions and Sam’s Club. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, loved roses and will forever be remembered for her love of her family and the family cookouts she loved to host.
Members of the family include her loving husband of 9 years, Donald C. Kelley, four sons, Perry Perkins, her niece, Dawn Levesque, Edwin Drake and his wife Dawn, Michael Drake and Daniel Drake, a daughter and her husband, Sheila and Ernest Caron, three step-sons, Jack Nichol, Scott Kelley and Kenneth Kelley, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, six step- grandchildren and four step great grandchildren, one brother, Kenneth McFarland and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 11 siblings.
After cremation, calling hours were held on Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 10 am to 12 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH.
